My advice to you: don't sell magical items, even if you think they're 
not good ...
It's not worth the money !
Instead, have a look at 
http://www.diabloii.net/items/crafted/recipes.shtml, you might just get 
lucky !

This is what I've made with a 3,000 worth ring:
Doom Band ring
8% chance to cast level 5 chain lightning on attack
10% faster cast rate
+2 to vitality
fire resist +24%
damage reduced by 4
magic damage reduced by 1
+2 to light radius

It's not the best item ever but it's not too bad considering that it was 
originally a crappy ring !
The 10% faster cast rate is really a plus for a bowazon whose bow is 
powerful but not as fast as I wish it'd be !
