We bought a brand new I-Book for my wife. This is a perfect machine!
Of course, I have some difficulties to support it in case of trouble, as the OS
is Japanese, and the input system is Chinese!!
But I managed to make my print server work (even for Japanese & Chinese!), to make
automatic backups, and of course removed all M$ pre-installed stuff, such as
Internet Exploder and Outlook. The only
problem is the lack of a decent Java runtime for MacOS 9.1. I will try to upgrade
to MacOS X, when I feel more confident...
By the way, my sister got a virus (she uses Outlook), and she managed to send it to maybe 30 different people, including someone in my company, who was very surprised...
